Joe DeSouza is a senior graphic designer, mentor, and dedicated advocate for inclusive access to creative careers. He currently holds the position of Senior Graphic Designer at Encore Boston Harbor and actively contributes to the Wynn Employee Foundation, which promotes employee and corporate volunteerism within the Boston community.
Joe is committed to supporting students at both Bunker Hill Community College and Lesley University through mentorship, creative development, and professional guidance. He also will teach a seminar titled Strategic Positioning and Job Search Success: Art and Design and serve on the upcoming Presidential Advisory Board at Lesley University in the fall of 2025.
Prior to his career in design, Joe spent several years as a successful retail manager in the grocery industry, where he developed strong project management, leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills. Additionally, he has served with distinction in the United States Army Reserve and the Massachusetts National Guard.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Joe enjoys travel, photography, exploring new technology, and spending quality time with his wife, Jennifer, and their three pugs—Henry, Sophie, and Violet.
